Graziers in Groups

Locals getting together

Welcome to Graziers In Groups, our program that connects like-minded graziers on a host farm in your area. As farmers and graziers we are quite often happily working independently on our own places, however we are also curious about what others are doing and feel we need a legitimate reason to get together. Therefore, we have created and facilitate a program to do just that.

Our Program

About six grazing businesses per group, meeting a couple of times per year

01

How is the season?

We look at what part of the year we are in, how the season is going and strategies to optimise pasture growth, animal production and farm profit.

02

Challenges and Wins

What challenges are we facing individually? As a group how can we identify solutions to support each other and celebrate wins together.

03

Paddock Walk

It is always good to go on a paddock walk, see what the host farm is doing, what they find works well, where the challenges are and what we can apply back home.

I found Graziers in Groups facilitated by Andew Zerner extremely valuable in knowledge building and networking with like-minded producers. Will definitely attend more of them.

Virginia K, Burnett

The format of working with a small group made up of other graziers from my district was extremely powerful. The collective knowledge in that group, facilitated by Andrew, allowed us to make some big steps forward in our own business.

Dan C, Kilkivan
